The contact with yoga teacher and student

When a yoga teacher comes in contact with the patient or the student it is subjective; there are a lot of emotions involved. Philosophy is an intellectual subject where one can talk and answer questions academically and the matter ends there. There is no communication or communion. There is only speech. Communication is not just speech. You have to observe what type of change takes place in the pupil when you are teaching, like the expression in their faces or in their behavioral pattern. It is this sort of communication which sends the message to you to tell you whether you are going in the right direction or not. When you read the communication in their faces or expressions, you have to adjust immediately, otherwise there is no communion.
